KVS PGT Salary According to Hard Station & North East Region
KVS PGT salary for Hard station and northeast region is higher than the normal salary for other regions. KVS provides a special allowance of 10% of the basic pay to the posted teachers in these areas. These areas include Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Leh & Laddakh, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura etc.
- Completion of tenure in hard and NE region of three years: plus 55 points to be counted in their service period.
- Completion of tenure in a very hard station of 2 years: plus 60 points to be counted in their service period.
- Completion of tenure in a normal station of one year: plus two points to be counted in their service.
Additional benefits are to be added due to these points in the KVS PGT salary structure.
KVS PGT Salay Structure of HRA
HRA means House Rent Allowance which is a part of your salary income, this allowance is fully taxable. Now the question arises of how to calculate it, Let’s try to understand it:
Suppose Actual HRA received 24% of (Basic salary + DA) for those living in Metro cities and 18% of (Basic salary + DA) for those living in non-metros, Apply this formula Actual rent paid (-)10% of Basic salary + DA.
